I don't have any idea who this thread was directed at, but you seem to forget that it has been ME, the king of pork, that has been telling you to get a shampoo brush for years!

On residential cut piles, it's better than a scrub pad.

On CGD, the pad is best.

I never get any credit around here!

I should confirm what Marty said, it works about the same on Berber but better/deeper on piles.

Especially a 80 ounce plush we did yesterday.

When I went on my own...I bought a used SW Power-matic........

Then I sold against those Hacks.....That used rotary scrubbers .......


I NOW have 3 RX20's that are collecting DUST

8 months ago ....I needed a 175 for a BAD tile job. soooo I bought a new 175..
When they saw how easy the job was with that type of aggitation :shock: :shock:
they were amazed!!!

Soooo now the men want to use it on every job. I am seriously contemplating buying
the tank for it & eliminating the HYDRO-SOAKER :idea:

HOWEVER: this thought would have NEVER crossed my mind. If we were not using GLIDE's :!:

Not many tools in this industry have served as well as the old 175's..."Very versatile indeed"


PS There is one TOOL... I am sure will not make its way back on the sceen :!:

The brush attachment is WAY over-priced & doesn't work well..........

Shampoo brush can be used for most hard surfaces & carpet..plus you can
Bonnet clean & post pad with one machine.....Frees up space in trucks......
Btw..175's last forever & are cheap to repair.........

I still think that GLS rocks for residential prescrub, plus Mrs. Piff ain't seen the Janitor waxing the floor with one.

Great Shape toooo.... :!: Not like the one in Mikes video..
But it will blend-in nice with the 97 dOdGE.....Looks like the same year mOdle 8)

What you guys are talking about is called "Showcasing". Where you pre-scrub with a 175 and a shower feed brush. Talk about old school. What's next? You're going to start touting the benifits of Host for resi? Give me a break.

Have you ever heard of fiber distortion? Sure, the rug looks great for a while. But, some rugs look like hell after a few weeks because the yarns can become untwisted and matt down twice as bad as before showcasing. What a terrific service you just did for the custy.

No thanks! If i can't get her cleaning using my RX then forget about it and move on. Besides, those freaking shower feed brushes are a beaaatch to keep clean. Then they stank after a while too cuz of all the crud build up. If you must use an adjust-a-glide then do yourself a favor and get a couple afro-picks to keep them halfway clean.

Word to the wise, if the rug in question absolutley needs pre-scrubbing then pre-condition as normal, then use the RX to aggitate without vac or steam. After agitation then connect vac and steam and clean as normal. Less distortion that way.

175 to pre-scrub. Give me a break! hahaha......
